Panera Experience

Panera Bread may have an expensive price on their food, but they sure do make eating there a memorable experience. The restaurant on Bechtle Avenue in Springfield, Ohio provides a place where you can get delicious food quickly, in a clean and comfortable atmosphere, with utmost friendliness and service.

Although Panera isn’t really a full service dine-in type restaurant, as soon as I sat down with my friends, an employee cleaned the table off. Also, throughout the meal, workers made sure everything was okay including the manager of the restaurant asking how everything was.

The restaurant is very organized with the seating area and ordering area. There are a variety of places to sit, with different types of tables and chairs that provide room for a variety of crowds. With that, there order and pick-up system seems to be well designed as the pick-up area is far away from the order area to eliminate combustion.

Everyone seemed to respect the environment as I saw people put their trays away. Everything was clean and neat due to the mutual respect amongst customers and workers.

There is good lighting with multiple colored walls and calm tranquil colors that creates a homey feeling for the customers. The classical music and fireplace added to that homey feeling and really made me feel in a comfortable environment.

All of this talk about the environment. What about the food. Well, my Italian sandwich was nothing short of unbelievable. The perfect amount of meat and condiments was on it and I truly enjoyed every single bite of it. After I was done eating, I thought about how great an experience eating at Panera was from start to finish.

With a very wide target audience including males and females and anyone from the high school age to much older, Panera really has it down to a science.

Secret Sins

From beer bonging 151 rum to having sex in wild places, students at Wittenberg University are definitely in their own little bubble, for good or for worse. What may seem like close to perfection or goodness on the outside really is quite the opposite.

A recent non-scientific poll, entitled Secret Sins, was recently distributed to 118 male and female students at Wittenberg ranging in class. The survey was designed to find out whether students take part in certain actions that they typically wouldn’t admit. Some questions that were asked included things like whether they have shoplifted, gone to class under the influence, or taken part in a threesome.

In regards to the poll, one major theme that came about in regards to the craziest thing people have done included sex in some way or another. Whether it was breaking their friends mom’s bed from having sex too hard or having sex on a golf course, there were a variety of both extreme and hilarious stories. One male student stated, “I had sex in a pool with a girl while 30 people were watching us.” Another male student said that they, “made love in the club at Mcmurray’s” Regarding some statistics in the sexual context, 61 percent of students have skinny dipped, 55 percent have streaked and 68 percent have sexted, sent sexual material through text messaging.

Many of these sex stories are directly related to using and abusing drugs and alcohol. 42 percent have done adderall without having a prescription for it and 62 percent of students have driven under the influence. Many of these students have shoplifted in order to get things like beer and champagne. Also, one student had an “LSD induced conversation with a bunny” while someone else “went streaking through two sororities.” For some reason, I doubt that was sober.

Most college students go to school for an education. Ironically though, 67 percent of the students have came to class under the influence. Also, 81 percent of the students have cheated in school! Maybe, they just need to cheat because their under the influence in class. Who knows!

College students have four years. Why not make the best of those four years, right?
